If Alabama struggles this year RB will likely be the problem. Bo may be great but he hasn't proved anything yet and Damien Harris has been underwhelming. Who's left to save the day? How did Alabama get so thin at RB?

An poor running game is Bama's worst nightmare.

Emmons will be in the mix if he qualifies. The year we took 4 backs and only one of them stayed killed our depth

Oh yeah, it's not like they haven't been stacking up 5 stars or anything.

If one thing is certain year after year it's that Alabama will have a good running game. Hell I could get a few yards behind that line

The good news is, the OL is so good that Bama could take a page from Mike Shula's old offense of Darby up the middle and no one will be able to stop them.

A good oline always makes a good rb.

If the most Alabama has to worry about is RB play, you can give them their natty right now.

The just signed BJ Emmons who is a fricking stud. And Damien Harris barely even saw the field last year because they were too busy feeding the Heisman winner. Their running game will be great, same as it has been every year of Saban's tenure. Your insecurity is showing.

Scarbrough will be really good and Harris will be a good change of pace. I wouldn't sleep on their running game just yet.

People are giving up on Harris way too quick.

There's plenty of experience on the defense. It's the depth along the d-line that will be a huge drop off from last year.

What youth on defense?

Every single position will have a starter that was on the 2015 2 deep.

That was a particularly rare thing, was a d line that punished your QB. Not the take up space for linebackers to make plays theory. Style will depend on personnel.

But worrying about a decent run game is just foolish.

Didn't Ole Miss take the RB that Bama wanted to replace the kid with grade problems?
