Sticking with Blake here. Hurts will have situational role versus a rotation type scenario. And the "insiders" are wrong again.

Based on what Bench. You aren't at practice. This is the problem with listening to insiders. Does any rational person think Saban and Kiffin are trying to sabotage the team. If Hurts was the best man for the job he'd be starting. He may have all the tools but if he can't read defenses and is throwing into baited coverage what good do all of those skills do. The mans only won 4/7 national championships with 3 first year starters. I have to assume he has figured out how to handle a QB race.

I am very disappointed with this decision. Jalen Hurts will end up being miles better than both of those guys put together. Hell, he's arguably better than both of them right now. Bama can still win games with him going through growing pains early in the season and by the end of the year, the team will be a monster.
