Cooper Bateman & Blake Barnett
I would assume Bateman will start, Barnett will enter the game later, and Barnett IMO will not give the starting job back.

That was based off a "breaking news" story by a Bama website that's had a horrible couple of weeks.
They said Hurts was starting, he isn't (now being suggested that their source was Tony Brown's girlfriend).
They got accused of taking twitter posts of another Bama writer and presenting them as their own work (lawyers now involved, facts TBD).
They said Joshua McMillion was transferring (he isn't, missed practice to attend his uncle's funeral).
Right now if they say it is raining and something wet hits you on the head, it is more likely to be bird shait than rain.

He had a really bad scrimmage in the last one a few weeks ago. Don't know if that is the norm or not.

I am very disappointed with this decision. Jalen Hurts will end up being miles better than both of those guys put together. Hell, he's arguably better than both of them right now. Bama can still win games with him going through growing pains early in the season and by the end of the year, the team will be a monster. Now, it's just going to be another year with a mediocre game manager at QB.

I never understood the hype about Barnett. Seriously, watch his high school tape. I didn't see him make a single impressive throw in any of his game film. Bama fans poo-pooed me when I said that last year but now a lot of them are slowly coming to the realization that Barnett was never that good.
