Y'know, I think what MOST of America would like to see out of that game is this:

Bama rolls up a big lead, and Manziel contributes by multiple stupid turnovers and penalties. Along the way, he gets drilled a bunch of times.

Sumlin pulls Manziel in the 4th, and Joeckel (sp?) leads an improbable rally and claims the starting spot. Throws 3+ TDs, including the winning score with less than 30 secs left. Is seen cheering on the defense on the sidelines, while Manziel pouts by himself on the bench. Sumlin says "we've found our leader" in the post-game interview, as he hugs Joeckel.
Manziel quits the team and withdraws from school that following week.

Sounds harsh, but there ya have it.

I can say we have definitively discovered how this forum feels. My thread was started over an idea I heard on sports radio... basically that America would wanna see JF lose, and might actually pull for Bama during this one. And one of your LSU brethren showed a poll that showed 50/50 draw. To be really honest, I'm SHOCKED we actually had that much support to beat Manziel... it just shows how powerful 1. actions are 2. how sports media affects perception.

Bama is going to have a majority of football fans pulling for us

Count me in the minority then. And it would be nice for JM to have four ints, three fumbles and fewer than 50 total yards.......not that he hasn't already blown his chances for a HT repeat.

Appreciate your $.02, Scoob.

Just remember that for all his mistakes (and they have been well documented), JFF is not asking to be put on magazine covers or for ESPN to talk about him 24/7. We'd all be fine (Aggies included) with no more coverage of JFF for a while. Just focus on the team.

Now JFF isn't allowed to talk in post game media sessions per Sumlin, and the media is bashing him for that!

Unfortunately, 86,000 less your ticket allotment will be watching in real life and pulling for the other team. Everyone else won't matter.

I don't understand why most people don't like douchebags. I think I'm very fricking likable.
