Trust me. As much as it pains me to type that, I'd rather see A&M win this one then Alabama. I hate Alabama for obvious reasons. I'm sure over time I'll hate you too, but I'm not quite there yet.

Not so sure. A lot of people have Alabama fatigue just as much as Johnny Football fatigue. This will be a hold your nose and pull for someone kind of game for most of the country.

Probably true, but people at least respect what Alabama has done. Johnny has lost a lot of respect from otherwise neutral observers.

Actually I think you greatly underestimate how much people don't like Bama. Even most Texas fans I know want us to beat you.
FWIW, that actually makes you more of "America's Team" in reality. The Cowboys get high ratings and are "America's Team" not because everyone likes them, but because everyone either likes them or absolutely hates them. Not much middle ground.
No one outside of the South gives a damn about the Braves though, that was just a Ted Turner marketing gimmick that didn't work.
