So Wisconsin doesn't count as a quality win but Iowa does?

One is playing for a conference championship and one isn't.

It's hilarious that even though yall are at the top and no way in hell yall don't make the CFP, your fanbase is still begging for everyone's approval

Crimson,

I guess I didn't get your point.

Are you saying that Ohio State cant win the playoff because they didn't play anybody the first 9 weeks

or Bama is at a disadvantage because they will get hurt more playing tougher teams

the first point could have some validity, but OSU is going to be playing a way tougher schedule than Bama the last three weeks so that might be moot

The second point is not valid to me at all. These are all real conferences with big time football. Some might not be as talented, but if you are talking Big Ten specifically, that's probably one of the most physical conferences in the nation

Both observations are generalizations, and are actually contradictory in the argument of whether a tougher schedule is a disadvantage. If you play a tougher schedule, you benefit from it - IF you don't sustain more key injuries.

In neither case is it anywhere near legitimate to say anyone "can't win the playoff" because of a schedule. We're just talking about the general impact. Alabama will be coming off a big game against Florida (if Bama wins), and Ohio State coming off the same against Iowa, presumably. But then they wait a month, so...

Who knows what will happen? I just want to see those overrated pieces of shite make it that far. I think Alabama will push their shite in this year. They have never seen a front 7 like this.

IMO,

Ohio State will lose one of these last three games. Something just doesn't seem right with them. Maybe they need a challenge and get focused.

But Mich State and Mich have been trending downwards so mabe they will walk them.

Then again, I didn't think Bama was as good as people think but I might have to start backtracking on that

This years playoffs are a crapshoot

Agreed.

This year's Bama defense is the truth. The front 7 is legendary, making the defensive secondary look better than they are (which is actually just pretty good.)

Our offense was much more consistent last year. If we can pound you, it's over. But of you stack the box and make Coker beat you, we will struggle and need to rely on our defense. If you force is to throw AND complete a few big plays on our secondary, watch out.

Yet another reason why you should not be taken seriously - weak attempts to deflect a point based on commonly used expressions.

I don't know what's better. Reading your posts, or the thought that none of you knows what's happening.

I know, right? We're sounding like L5U fans up until the evening of 11/7. Then most of you just slunk right back to tardville.

The thing about the Big 10 and the ACC is that I think OSU, Michigan, MSU are all decent teams. But the difference between the Big10 and the SEC is that Alabama has had to show up pretty much every week and bring there A game or they will lose. It is week 10 and OSU could have shown up with there C game and still be undefeated. How is that possible or fair? It also leaves them fresh for these games and potential playoff games.

Iowa being in the top 5 is a joke I really think they would be battling Auburn for last place in the west. Michigan state hasn't shown anything either. So Ohio state will have beaten an average MSu team a good michigan team and a very average iowa team and get in the playoffs. Joke

Will any of this be a consolation if Ohio State somehow manages to win it all again?
