Alabama hasn't played anyone

Even with a loss, our strength of record is above anyone else in the nation. Alabama also leads the top 15 (image shows teams with their losses on Saturday but not their new ranks) in opponents with the most wins, and the fewest losses themselves.

As much as I want this to be true...I find it hard to believe Oh state is ranked that high for SOR.

I mean OSU's next 3 opponents are currently 27-3 so that will help these records a lot
I hope no OSU fans have said their schedule has been difficult yet

Nope, just that Alabama's isn't all it's cracked up to be. These idiots use "at the time" like they own it.

Sweet response thread, man.

Are you missing where Alabama's opponents are 61-38 while OSU's are 45-56?

One of those teams is a 9-1 FCS team.

No it isn't. This is only counting opponents played already.
I know you're looking for holes in the armor, but they aren't there.

In addition to playing in the West we played
probable 10-2 Wisconsin
probable 7-5 MTSU (lost to Illinois and Vandy by a combined 4 pts)
probable 9-3 UGA
probable 8-4 Tennessee
All 4 will go to bowls

Even better. So you're ignoring the fact that Ohio State will have to beat three top ten teams in a row to make it into the playoff.
If Ohio State wins out, they're in. No amount of bitching about their schedule will stop that.

Serious question, is anyone doubting that? Because that would be stupid.

Yes, our schedule sucked this year. This will be remedied next season.

You dumbasses are relying on shite like ESPN FPI and "strength of record" to make your points. Don't lose sight of that.

And Sagarin, and F+, and basically any other measure of schedule strength that isn't "F Bammer They Suck!"

I think, or at least hope, everyone here is intelligent enough to realize that. According to the thousands of Ohio State schedule threads though, they shouldn't be in because of it. It's old. It was old last year, too.

Meh, I give OSU a pass for that. Scheduling a game @ Virginia Tech takes guts. The rest of the games are just as good as most other teams 3 non-Power 5 games. They close the year with Michigan, Michigan State and Iowa in the title game. It isn't their fault they don't play Wisconsin or Iowa cross-division.
OSU always schedules tough OOC games.

Last year was different, though, due to the loss.
An undefeated Ohio State team that wins the Big Ten is in the playoff. I don't know how anyone would debate that. And that is without throwing in the eye test or last year as points of discussion.
