I know that we have some wacko fans that do some stupid shite, some of which is actually documented with irrefutable evidence in the media...and not the social kind. Rumors and threads like these will unfortunately gain a life of its own and will be added 'as factual' to the lists of all the stupid things that are attributed to Bama fans. Almost like Bigfoot.
Any reasonable person would (or should) think, "Geez, if this didn't really happen, is all of that other shite that Bama fans do really true?"

There is actually a better answer.
All these 'witnesses' equipped with devices that can get a tweet out and here two days later and not one has produced a recording of the event.

People are saying no chant happened, and some are saying "luck is dead" was chanted. At the time of the supposed chant, Auburn was winning, IIRC, so the "luck is dead" chant is bullshite. I heard from a friend in the section that a few dumbass Updykes were chanting "Lutzie is dead" while others chanted "luck is dead." Either way, I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
