I thought we should have at least one UAB thread on the SEC Rant that dealt with the SEC.

Alabama will not play in state teams. Practically forced to play Auburn. I don't understand it really. The "Nothing to gain" argument doesn't really work. Already playing 1-2 CUSA payday teams and an FCS team every year as it is.
It would be great for the state for Troy, UAB, and USA to play Auburn/Alabama at some point. At least the payday home games would be more interesting.

That was only time we were really whipped under Saban, not counting his first year without any of his own players. I will joke with you gamecocks all day long, but I respect that game. Nobody else in the SEC has been able to do what you did that day, against an incredibly talented team.

No. Not that I'm aware. Clemson and South Carolina just like spreading the money around the state to the smaller schools.

Yea, we've done a pretty good job at either playing a FCS school from Texas or an old SWC team who never made the jump. I like playing old SWC teams who never made the jump

Bama doesn't give UAB football any $$$ to survive. Not sure where you pull this out from.
