Game managers, bro. That's all Bama ever has, and ever needs.

1. Yes on paper this is the worst Bama team of the last 5 years.
2. I still see 9-10 wins easily.

Who's gonna be leading that offense next year? Cornwall? Sims? Ely? Someone i'm not listing?
They are all talented guys but young. I don't see anyone coming in and not having some growing pains even though i still think bama will get to double digit wins

Alabama 2014 - one of the least talented on paper in the Saban

Please link to the person who said we won't take a step back after losing AJ.
It is a completely different statement to call this one of the least talented on paper. 2014 Bama will have all sorts of talent. We will have leadership gaps in key positions. Big difference.

Yes but i think McCarron was groomed as the heir apparent to McElroy..Bama has no such player this next year apart from some scrap time against crappy teams from Sims

Agree completely. I think having a new QB will have an impact. I just think we have a very very talented team, as a whole. The thread title says "least talented", which I believe is false.

Bama has got some nice talent that needs to prove themselves. Some players more than others and the same goes for the coaching staff. Plus, I'm sure Bama's gamefilm has been so wornout by opposing coaches something fresh isn't such a bad thing.....

They don't have an all American middle LB for the first time since 2007.... From McClain, Hightower, then Mosley the succession of great bama backers has been awesome... they don't have that kinda talent and experience in 2014.
Will make a huge difference.

Part of it might actually be a good thing. There were times this year where we were gashing teams with the run, but we wouldn't stick with it and would still try to pass it. I think having a new qb will force us to go back to our identity of ground and pound, feed Henry football. Nuss would get too cute with his playcalling sometimes.
Of course we will miss McCarron, but we won a title with McElroy under center, so I'm not worried. I'm also not expecting a title. 2015 tho

LAck of talent won't be the problem at all, we'll again probably be the most talented team in the country.
It will probably come down to how well our new QB plays.O line and CB development will also be a big thing as far as if we compete for a NC or not.

Trey's last five games were his true potential. If he played all season like that, he'd be getting more national talk. If he plays next season like that, he'll be All-SEC first team at the worst.

We were pretty close to playing for a title with JPW as well.

Do y'all ever feel like the newer recruits are coming in with a false sense of entitlement? The earlier Saban/Bama players earned everything and it just would make sense that these new kids come in and just expect to win titles because they're Alabama
Am I completely off base?
