I believe that is a fair assessment. It's kind like a rebuilding year for them.

That's laughable.

Won 2 championships with 1st year starters. Auburn & FSU both had 1st year starters. ND did the year before. Auburn did against Oregon.

If you can make the title game in a year that NOBODY expected less than 4 losses and major rebuilds, why not give us the same miraculous expectation?

this group was heralded by Bama fans as the best group of WRs on one team in college football this past year. they definitely underperformed with a 5th year senior QB.

Cooper is a better pure WR than Julio ever was at Bama. DeAndrew White is a freak athlete that just hasn't broken out yet, we're hoping he does under CLK.

Maze, Hanks, and Gibson weren't good. Coop, White, and Jones are good. Black, Foster, and Falkins are unknowns, but talent wise they "should" be better than Maze and company.

I'd take Cooper over Julio (at Bama) any day. JJ had a problem of turning/running before he caught the ball. Too many drops.

I refuse to believe there is anything special about yeldon. He has no particular trait that stands out and Ingram and Richardson make him look like a fool college wise.

DDA is right about that. Yeldon/Drake isn't even in the same universe as Ingram/Richardson/Lacy. We need bigger backs like Henry.

Kenny Bell getting snaps and shitty playcalling are to thank.

Plus a horribad O-Line.

I think you're right. I don't know if that equates to a lack of talent though. We have a ton of very talented guys, but lots of inexperience at key positions. I would say that outside of the qb spot the skill positions are probably the strength of the team offensively. Much better wrs than in 2011 and deeper at rb.

He knows. He's just trolling. Slow Sunday at the diddy house, this is what has become of his life, trolling the sec rant and sitting back and giggling at himself like a 15 year old girl at her first reggae concert.

Yeldon has better burst than any back we've had under Saban, sans Drake.

I don't think our offense ever found an identity this year. We'll struggle with a new QB, but I'll be very surprised if we aren't more successful next year at the run, and rely on it more.

Unless somebody catches fire in a hurry at QB, we won't be as balanced as in recent years.
