Be vocal about it. Call into sports talk shows, gameday signs, write, email and call the SEC office, blog about it, and make it known that this is happening. The numbers tell the story.

It's very unfair, yet very blatant.

did you not see the referee get flipped by the pylon last night? It's a pylon, it's at the goal line, it doesn't move. Shouldn't they master the pylon first before matriculating to moving objects?

It couldn't possibly have a damn thing to do with actually COACHING your players correctly, could it?

No one is discrediting Saban's coaching - at least I'm not - but not getting flagged for a single holding penalty in 10 games is ridiculous. Holding can technically be called on every play and I have trouble believing the Bama OLine has not held anyone in 10 games.

This works like it does in major league baseball. If you are a pitcher known for throwing strikes, then there is a greater chance that you get the call on a borderline pitch than a guy who is wild

The samething applies for teams in football who often, or infrequently get penalized. From the sounds of it, you guys just want a ref to get an itch up his arse and call holding for no reason.

summary: dont be a team that gets penalized alot and youll get away with more. gotta do taht first though, because complaining about iffy penalties while your practicing optometry on the field is silly

bama is the cash cow right now and they will be protected. The hammer will fall when they start slipping a bit and if you need proof look to the west coast.

I'm not hating on LSU. It's just an O-Lineman usually holds when he gets beaten. If you're not beat, there's no reason to hold.

Is that why 9 opponents only committed 6 holding penalties on us in 2007, when we were among the nation's leaders in sacks and hurries? And one of them was offset by a penalty on us.

"By the way, last year bama was sacked 20 times."

That is just more proof that they don't hold. Bama's O-lineman would rather give up a sack than use improper technique.

This should be all we need to know about Alabama and refs...

In 2000, after their game with LSU, Alabama became the first, and still only, SEC school ever to file a complaint with the SEC because the refs DIDN'T make a bad call in their favor.
