whether we fans want it or not, our administration is pushing to keep us out of the Cotton. They have worked very hard at expanding our brand this year and don't want us to be seen as a "Big 12" team.
Playing in the Cotton right now doesn't help that effort. We'd much rather play a new and different bowl that does not involve the Big 12. That will change in the future but it's just where we are this year.
You guys need to get your stories straight. What happened to "any time, any place" ?

I'm laughing because NIU getting a BSC bid is a real possibility and that knocks OU out of a BCS game and into the CB.

Yea thats real fricking funny. You must be an idiot. Nobody likes a system where NIU plays in a BCS bowl. Especially considering they have 2 losses.

they'd play in the Orange bowl so who really gives a frick? It's not like its a real BCS game

honestly, after seeing Nebraska get annihilated by Wisconsin today I'd rather play Texas (or if by some chance OU) in the Cotton than the Huskers or have a rematch with Northwestern in the Cap One.

i wish slive would push us to cotton. Tell texas to take the game or go public that you don't want to play us. game against nebraska or northwestern would blooooooooow.

Yes it is, and tell your dad I said to do pushups. Just because. I don't recall anybody being from Kansas (or is it Manhattan as in New York? - there, either) or I could probably guess who your father is. When he's done with his 80 pushups, tell him I said "Howdy, dammit!", from Cleburne, Texas.
