Sherman does not get fired after the 2011 season if A&M stays in the Big 12. His vocal opposition to the move helped get him canned. If he stays it would have led to Jameill Showers being the starting QB for the beginning of 2012 and if he held it down JJF likely transfers out.

A&M would have killed Texas every year since they ejected.

the only thing you got right.

He wrote several paragraphs about Texas A&M on an SEC website. I think horns hate A&M more than they like UT Austin

I've never thought about this.

I'm sure almost every aTm fan is still very happy about the move to the SEC, but maybe a small part of them wouldn't have minded beating the crap out of Texas these last few seasons.

We fired our coach after beating them two years in a row. I think they're reading into our fight song a little too much.

I like how people are talking about laughing at Baylor and other schools being jealous of them. Pretty it's the complete opposite when it comes to Baylor and TCU

The move to the SEC re-energized Texas A&M athletics. It also re-energized the fan base. The new Kyle Field would never had happened without the move to the SEC.

This seams like as good a place as any to ask some aggies what tcu's team is gonna look like next year. What I wanna know is what are they losing on offense? Is this gonna be another 50 ppg team? It's a big game for the hogs... If any of you are half frog the info is appreciated.

They have 5 straight losses to LSU on the football field to show during this time period. That should count for something

There is now a very large t-shirt fanbase that pulls for both Texas A&M and Texas.

Nor will you have to sit through a College World Series, Final Four, College Football Playoff...

Not a single Aggie I have ever met regrets leaving y'all in the dust. You have 3 losing seasons in the past 6 years. Y'all are a dumpster fire.

quote:

Of course the football most Saturdays is at a more enjoyable level (hell, I wish Texas was anywhere but the Big 12), but aggies know what this has cost them.

Lolz. The only thing it has cost, is y'all and limelight. You aren't the center of the sporting world in the Lone Star State, and that has made y'all more butthurt than I could have possibly imagined.

quote:

A&M likely would have played in the national title game JFF's freshman year had they stayed in the Big 12.

Long term the Big 12 would blow. A hypothetical season is not worth the tangible result of being the only school in the premiere conference in all of college football. We have something every other program and the state desperately wishes they had.

quote:

A&M would have killed Texas every year since they ejected.

And since beating the shite out of y'all means nothing these days, where would that have got us? At a minimum it puts us in Iowa State's shoes and best case scenario we are in the Alamo Bowl. Who cares?

quote:

These are all things that would have meant a great deal to the aggie fans.

Of the last decade or college football, A&M and tu each have three wins against eachother. A&M winning more than 50% of the matchups the last 40 years meant absolutely nothing to us. We still left y'all in the dust.

Now, they have nothing to show for this time period.

Lolz.

In my experience their butthurt is at an all time high. If you mention the SEC around a tu fan, their blood pressure shoots through the roof. Look how many teasips find their way here. It's adorable.
