I'm a huge fan, though I wish he would STFU sometimes. He's the best player in CFB though.

We're getting roasted b/c people don't know what they're talking about--and they're dying to believe the crap the media is "reporting." It's human nature. And in this case, it's produced a mob mentality like I've never seen.

My support of Manziel isn't affected a bit by a media that wants to "roast" us.

No offense at all, but I've read every post you've made on this subject, and I couldn't disagree w your comments more. So we'll have to call one of those 'agree to disagree' truces.

His antics are the most overblown load of horse shite. He's a great player, one if the best ever and wears a&m on his chest.

Aggies need to get behind him and stop being pussies and worrying about what everyone else thinks.

Fair enough. I think most Ags agree with you. I just have to deal with all the butthurt sips, tech tards, and gaylor bears and now our fellow SEC alums talking shite at work and it has worn me out.

Don't let the bastards get you down.

Seriously.

They're spewing & parroting what they're reading/seeing--the overwhelming majority of which is BS.

Guess you missed the Cam Newton mob which was much worse even with much less "ammunition".

I mean hell, Cam was a nice guy who did not drink (at all), did not party and just kept his head down and worked off the field. Mentored kids at the elementary school even. Even went to class and is working on finishing his degree right now.

My wife and her family are die hard Aggies. They can't stand him and are embarrassed. Not sure how much they represent the feelings of the fanbase

Admittedly, I wasn't as close to that situation as I am this one, hence my like I've never seen caveat. I don't doubt for a second that the same phenomenon was alive & well in that instance as well.

I expect it from the big 12 losers we left in the dust, but now it's everyone. Georgia, LSU (of course), and Bama alums all tsk-tsking at A&M and its getting old. If Manziel just ignored the trash talking the media wouldn't have anything to brainwash the nation with.

The thing is....Manziel brings it upon himself. If he would cut that attitude out and just play the game, there wouldn't be a problem. You didn't see that attitude last year...not until after the Heisman.

He's shown remarkable restraint to the trash-talking, Tea.

I would hate Johnny if he played for another team. Not bc of his personality, but bc he is that great of a player that he can act however he wants and still win. For now.

And it will be alive and well for the next person. It is human nature and jealousy at its core.

Build a guy up as an ideal you wish you could be more like or strive towards, then tear him down (with or without cause) when reality sets in that you could never be or achieve anything like the person who has been built up.

Just the way it is.
