About the conference tournaments. A&M proved it last year, and Vandy this year.
You better have your shite together before the tournament starts, or you better win it. Bc if you’re relying on winning a few games to get an at-large, it ain’t happening

They have their minds made up because everything revolves around money. They probably hate seeing particular teams going on conf tournament runs.

They should have every season broken down into 2 halves. How you play in the 2nd half of the season should have more weight than the 1st. No one should care if you beat #15(whoever) in week 4

It’s mind boggling how many people think conference tournament performances matter in the eyes of the committee. Even the ESPN folks pump it up like it matters

I give Aggy shite for being too whistle dependent (free throws) on offense but there is no denying they are playing their best ball right now. I thought they’d be 5 seed.

This had been situation in CFB for years. Subjective comparison of leagues without playing each other. CBB did try to address this but went into the other ditch relying on metrics. At end of the day, you have a conference of teams. They play each other and there is a ranking based on wins and losses. Don’t see any rationale why number 2 team in a conference should be seated below a team finishing much lower. What’s the point of the season? I will just schedule best OOC teams and then tank during conference to rest up. Not much point for me as a fan to worry about the season.
