If Saban wanted to be the coach at Notre Dame, he will already be there with one phone call to Jim Sexton.

I'll take the hook. It's no big deal. Coach Bryant almost took the original Dolphin's HC gig. Didn't because he had no answer when his Grandson asked him why he would ever want to coach anywhere besides Bama.

Saban never wanted to leave LSU. Took a super selling job by Wayne Huizenga to lure him away. I could see someone luring him away from Bama with a boatload of money and convincing him he would become the ONLY coach to EVER win NCs at three different schools.

I can see him getting the itch to come back, but it really depends on Mrs. Terry

Y'all don't understand. Saban is a southerner and he is in heaven right now. There is no bigger program for Saban to go to than Alabama. And, he will not go to a cold weather school like ND. He already paid his dues at yankee stadiums.

hell, he ain't left yet!

Seriously, if you're not in your 60s, it's next to impossible to understand the mentality of the idea.

When Saban retires from Bama there will be 50 college football programs calling to gauge his interest. We will see what he does.

Word is, Vince McMahon has a standing offer to hire Saban. Seems he wants to start promoting midget wrestling.
