Why would he? Dude is on cruise control at the best program in the nation. No need to take on that massive headache at retirement age

there's a better chance of Saban coaching Harvard than Notre Dame.

Business and its related majors—finance, economics, administration, management, etc.—should be the top field among football players year in and year out. The business major itself is an ideal one for players who will gain career opportunities thanks to the spotlight they gained in their days on the gridiron.

Sabah has done wonders for the bama program both on and off the field. He inherited a program with some good players, but it was amess off the field as the prior coach, who gets a little too much blame given that he took over at the worst time of probation, was a fairly hands off disciniplary coach which the players liked.

A dude like Saban retires and dies in two months
This is the answer to the question. He will retire when he is no longer able to do the job, probably because of an undisclosed health issue.

This. Or, he becomes the AD at Bama and builds a sports empire dedicated to breaking the "one sport school" stereotype through the best facilities, support, recruiting, and coaching in all athletics.

Only school in the country dumb enough to hire coaches 10 years past their prime hahaha then wonder why the program is left in shite when the old men don't want to go out and do the most important part of college football, RECRUITING lol

ok those 7 straight number one recruiting classes aren't enough to convince you that an old man can recruit well?

Might want to look again and see who that was a reply to

It doesn't matter who you are referring to, my point is age has little to do with how well a coach recruits. Maybe after 80.

It does matter who I'm replying to, it was a reply based off of a remark that was made. And not all old coaches pack it up while they are still on the job, but Spurrier did

yeah I agree with that, but you attacked old coaches instead of Spurrier personally, so I took up for the old men. I am not taking up for Spurrier, he may be funny and entertaining but he left when USCe needed him most. He gave up on recruiting too, because it was taking time away from his golfing. You are right about him.

Saban will ride off into the sunset at Bama, and Bob Stoops will likely be the next HC at Notre Dame.

Why would he go backwards?
