"No welder is ever going to admit to questionable welds"
THIS. My guess is that he completely made up the "2 questionable welds" statement knowing he hadn't done so but wanting to be a clever troll in puting doubt in the minds of those using the stadium. The guy is either a) a sadistic insensitive prick with a warped sense of humor given the engineering tragedy in A&M's past or b) he's just a clueless dumb### that doesn't realize he's basically setting himself up for liability should something happen even if he didn't in fact do 2 bad welds.

: "If you ever attend a Texas A&M football game, don't sit at the Northeast End Zone,
COLLEGE STATION-(AP)-In an unprecedented show of sportsmanship Texas A&M Athletic Department announced today that they would offer the entire Northeast End Zone seats to the University of Alabama.
Athletic Director Eric Hyman told our sources that if any school deserved to sit in the Northeast End Zone, it would be Alabama. "It shows how much we care about that fine university."
Alabama athletic officials relayed that they were touched by the offer. "We felt no one in the the SEC likes us" a tearful Nick Saban muttered. "We intend to repay this generous gesture by telling our lackey Mike Slive to no longer assign SEC officials to any A&M game in 2014 that does not involved the Crimson Tide." Saban commented "that will save us $10,000 a game in the lack of pay offs, alone."
The diminutive field boss chuckled "today I feel 5 feet tall."

I would say the guy was probably a poster on the Rant, but then I would guess he couldn't internet. Then I remember he posted things on Facebook, contradicting my assumption. I am so confused.

The flag was a joke, this is much, much worse. Does not even matter if he actually did the shoddy work (my quess is he does shoddy work). He wanted to get back at AG fans.
Will not call this typical behavior. There are good Alabama fans but these type stories and the support these guys get is very telling. Is there nothing Bama fan can do that is not supported by the Bama masses??? Tree killing, tea bagging, endangering lives, killing there own fans over a football game?

at some point this behavior becomes typical from the updyke segment of the bama fans.

Yes, because I'm sure we're the only fanbase with crazy nutjobs in it.
I'm sure Rashaan Evans would disagree.

Jesus Christ people. Let's get a little perspective here.
The guy is clearly talking out of his arse to sound as tough as some of you think you are. He clearly didn't "put anything on backwards" and it was verified and inspected by a 3rd party. Secondly, he hung a fricking flag outside of a stadium.
Meanwhile, half of you frickshits cheer for 18-22 year olds who beat girls unconscious and the coach does dumb shite like allow for team votes to see if they stay or not. I'm not giving a free pass to our dumbasses in the fanbase but some of you have gone full retard.

bama fanbase is like muslims in the middle east. there are some real crazies, and they do some bad shite, but you won't find many if any of them condemning the behavior.
First, this is just atrocious. The shift key is your friend, and it is "their", not "there".
As far as condemning the behavior, you have two things going on here:
Most Alabama fans thought putting the flag up was just kind of stupid. It cost him his job, and for what purpose? It accomplished nothing.
Pretty much every Alabama fan has said his comments regarding human safety are horrible and the man was justifiably fired, and distanced themselves from him. So, your comments are patently false. To equate some fans to a terrorist organization, and that the rest silently support violent acts? Do you realize just how ignorant you come across to even remotely suggest such a thing?
I am always amazed at the human trend to ignore the thousands in a crowd crying out for a person to be cast out, finding the tiny sliver of people (on the internet even, because we all know the internet is the BEST place to observe human interaction... /sarcasm) and immediately hold up THOSE people as "the example". Seriously, it's just pathetic.
