They are averaging a 3.5 finish in the West. That's not terrible.

Well, this is going to be a great bump thread one day.

It's as if Case Keenum was some kind of stud "can't miss" NFL prospect, and Sumlin was just lucky to be there.

I really hope we can find some stud DT's to bolster the defense. That's what we really need to compliment the solid work the offense is doing. Can Sumlin recruit these guys?

Is no JFF. I wasn't saying that Sumlin is a bad coach, he just to put up a few more seasons for me to judge fairly. I'm glad the ags have done well. It makes the SEC that much stronger.

LSU's Defense must be the best ever then.

Our defense has been worse than abominable.
No one has denied that.

Eta: what the heck?! Check out all of the LSU folks, crawlin' out from wherever!

Fair Enough. I think the offense doesn't require JFF to be good. JFF just made it even more dynamic, like record setting dynamic.

And if the Ags can put together a defense that can stop the run, then they might be able to beat LSU one day.

Because we take great pride in seeing all of you pathetic Aggies trying so desperately to fit in.

In case you haven't noticed, Ags aren't too concerned w trying to be like everyone else.
We're pretty ok w who we are.

I am fine with that. Great analogy.

Texas Tech and Leach ruined the Big 12. There is no defenses in that league anymore.

And like then, the days of old man football in the SEC are numbered.

Aggies need to understand that in the SEC, there are a lot of good teams & programs. But to be considered elite, it has to be done consistently over a period of yrs. Look at how long it took the Old Ball Coach to be successful, and he's one of the greatest coaches in the country. Two yrs on the back of a superstar QB does not make a program elite. The proof will come in time, not on records built at Houston & on the back of JM.

11-2, 9-4. Not a bad way to start, not awesome, but definitely good.
