including the top two total offense outputs in SEC history the past two seasons. That's pretty amazing.

I agree. Been fun to watch.

Do you not think you take a huge step back next year losing Manziel, Evans, Matthews, and Ogbuehi? That is a lot of production to have to replace

You'd have to be an idiot to NOT like Sumlin. Really respect him and the job he has done.

C'mon man. That whole first page reeks of 'no rings, don't care'. Are there any worse fans than that? That's a Cheerio Kid thing after a doctors report got them off the SMU express.

Just my 2 cents worth... either way, Geaux Tigers!

Basically coming into the league, nobody gave them a chance. They proved a lot of people wrong.

I don't. On the one hand, Sumlin has produced top offenses year after year after year. Also, we are returning 4 starters on a very good OL and a top quality stable of RBs. On the other hand, it's crazy to think we could lose those guys and NOT suffer. We'll see, I guess.

Did me. Not quite on the level with the AU turn-around, but they held their own, for sure.

EDIT

as did Mizzou.

I think the AU turnaround is unprecedented in the history of college athletics. I am surprised it didn't get more press.

I agree with this for the last two years. Only because he had JFF. Jff looked alot better IMO this year because he had one stud receiver. We will get to see if $5M was worth it for Sumlin this year and next.

The 2013 & 2014 recruiting classes on the defensive side should get A&M over the hump and give us the depth that we have severely been missing.

howabout some getting some starters that are good?

Check your facts. in the 8 years Sumlin has been a HC or OC, he's never failed to produce a top 15 offense, including the 2010 season when he played the year with his 4th string QB after a rash of QB injuries.

I was refering to the OP's SEC reference. Since joining the SEC, I would say that his numbers were a little off, given one of the better QB's to play CFB was playing for him. Would be interested to see how good A&M would have been with just an average QB (Mccarron or Murray... just to troll).
