Try to keep up; the context was A&M running from its foes, which history has proven is false, while LSU splits when things don't go their way.

You know how I KNOW you're not female...
...you got Aggie playing with himself.

1992 A&M 28, 2012 A&M 7 (2012 Aggies were 1-deep on defense while the 1992 Aggies had 3 first round picks on defense)
1998 A&M 21, 2012 A&M 10
...you got Aggie playing with himself.

I apologize for attempting to rerail this cluster of a thread, but
What is the current state of mind of mizzou and A&M fans, was it still a good idea coming to SEC?
existential question really, is it better to get attention and be bad, or not get attention and be bad.

Yes in every sense of the word.
Was it a good idea to sacrifice your collective soul for a #7 ranking (the highest in your history) while ignoring the systemic rape culture of your program?

Maybe I'm weird on this, but I blame the rapists.

So Briles, Starr, and the others who went out of their way to cover up for and protect the rapists have no culpability?

There is actually no proof of that. just allegations that have not been substantiated.
In my opinion, Briles was willfully ignorant, Starr was genuinely ignorant, and the apparatus that should have handled the allegations in a judicious and effective manner was left impotent intentionally by the administration.
All that being said, I find the notion that a football coach or anyone in the athletic department should or could be held responsible for mishandling criminal allegations to be patently absurd. This is not something that should be under their jurisdiction. It also should not be under the jurisdiction of the school either. A school's responsibility, in my opinion, begins and ends with the genuine effort to provide a safe environment and an effective conduit of direction for victims to contact the police. Law enforcement is the only agency that should be enforcing law.
it is a point of undisputed fact that many of the accusers refused to go to the police. that is their right. The school should have recommended they seek legal redress with as much vigor as the victim is willing to accept, but beyond this, a school should not be passing legal judgment on the accused without due process simply because the optic of an accused rapist remaining in school is negative.
innocent until proven guilty is the bedrock of the american pursuit of justice.

Yeah probably. I don't expect to beat USC forever. I just expect us to beat them more years than we lose to them.
