The record has consistently declined and now A&M to the point where they are no longer competitive in their own division - much less the entire conference.
What gives? Do y'all need a new coach? Change of philosophy?

They've played a grand total of 3 times. That's ike Sewanee bragging about having a winning record over certain SEC schools. It's irrelevant.

If we're going by rankings, the 1956 Aggies finished the season #5.
The 1992 A&M team went 12-1.
Record + Conference Title >>> Rankings and Bowl Win
Had the 1992 Aggies beaten Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl, they SHARE the title with Alabama. (moot point because they were beaten by 4 scores)
