Yeah. I might be wrong but there seems to be a bigger problem than just an average D and the perceived 'talent' not really being true. Can't put mu finger on it or put it into words...but we have a bigger 'issue' right now that might go back to JJ and Tyrann. dunno

It's been our Superbowl for pretty much the entire season

I really don't want to predict the outcome of it.
It will resemble a Mt West game from the 90's.

we have alot of issues that need to be resolved as soon as the regular season ends.
1. id fire stud and ensminger, both are useless and below average coaches. our oline quit saturday so stud should be fired. Our tightends create more negative plays than positive plays so bring in someone to replace farmer fran ensminger.
2. the d is way below average, we have had major holes in recruiting. i really think we need to either push chavis out at the end of this year or let him have one more year but we get a new dl coach.
when we hire new coaches on o cam should really be the one picking them since he is the oc.
ive said it before on here we have a country club attitude and the way to change it is bringing a new fire breathing coach on the staff. A former player might be good to bring in for oline coach and let him be the coach that fires up the kids.
I also think we need to think about getting rid of moffit. our dline and oline are pillow biting soft and outside of 11 we haven't been the best conditioned team. Either he needs to act like we start with oregon every year or we need to get a new guy.

Yeah, because the A&M/Bama game this year was an old school defensive struggle.

You need more deer antler spray and less vaporizer spray

Maybe that's it, don't know. But I sense a bigger overall problem than just the specifics you mentioned. I don't know what it is....maybe that's it.

No troll, but LSU vs. Bama came out as expected. I did NOT expect us to give up 41 to the grinders. My expectations are down from a week ago. It's going to be an interesting game...
MSU gained 21 of those points and nearly half their yards in the fourth quarter once we were up by four scores.
The game was never in doubt beyond halftime.

I know when I think of the SEC and "man cards" for defense a game with almost 100 points and 1100 yards is at the top of my list.

i think its that, its almost like texas. we have talent but it doesn't live up to its hype. our coaches are very close to mirror images of each other. They dont come off as super driven people and it rubs off on some of the players. I dont see a coach that is the spark. we always had a coach that was the guy that rallied the team up and forced them to get fired up. We also lack vocal leaders especially on defense. we dont have the tm7 or pp7 to pull the guys together and make them play tougher. the last 2 years the d is missing vocal leadership.
