I'm kind of concerned about the atmosphere as well. Day game, fan base pissed off to high heaven, gonna be an interesting game no doubt.

I could see A&M/LSU becoming one of the best rivalries in the SEC in 5 years. All the elements are there just sitting somewhat dormant because A&M needs to beat LSU to make it really explode. The recruiting battles are already there. For A&M, most of us know more LSU folks personally than any other fan base except the folks in Austin and LSU just doesn't have a true rival anymore. It was a serious hatefest in the late 80's/early 90's when I was in school. Two huge stadiums and programs with monster resources. It's going to be fun.
As for the game, I have no idea what to expect. I think JFF has circled this game all year after playing so poorly last year, he also thrives in tough road venues and seems to feed off the energy. A&M is also loaded with defensive players from Louisiana, most of which were passed over by LSU and have been waiting to play in Baton Rouge for a long time.
I do think it will be a shootout. One thing that gives me some hope is Mett doesn't run, at all. We have been killed by Zone Read QB's all year. The question is if we can slow down the running game and get any pressure on Mett. If we can I think we win easily. If we can't then it is going to be another "First one to 50!" type of game.

There is nobody on our schedule I want to beat more than LSU. I think a lot of my fellow Ags feel that way.

i doubt it man, they folded bad against bama and we have a history of complete failure to show up after the bama game when we lose it.
