Harris is not going to be soaking up any meaningful NIL money, if any at all, because he doesn’t have any leverage. He needs this gig to stay relevant and have a shot at ever earning a check playing football worse than Elko needs the potential trouble.
Elko doesn’t strike me as a guy who is going risk losing the locker room over a last chance project. You pencil him in, plan to be without him. If he acts like a dickhead, and he probably will, you toss his shite out in the parking lot and move on.
