Then why in hell did we extend him? He SUCKS and our entire fanbase hates him. Damnit damnit damnit we could have had Pearl.

b/c we actually have a few decent recruits coming in for him and we don't want to chase them away by letting them know he is screwed.

extensions like this happen all the time.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!!?

I HATE shitty basketball with every fiber of my being. Here's to another stretch of averting my eyes from the garbage that will be on the court wearing my alma mater's name

The Billy Kennedy version of the Kevin Sumlin "What?" video would go something like this:

WHAT?
what?
huh?

Well at least I'll have the Mavs as my basketball fix.

I'm pretty much at that point too. Kennedy has shaken the joy of college basketball out of me. One tremor at a time.

Most Ag's know as much about what turgeon left as outsiders know about what sherman left (nothing).

BK took on a Big Challenge, and then got diagnosed with parkinsons. We're a year or two behind schedule but it's on the way up.

This extension is pretty hollow if improvement doesn't start to show, and as was said before the buyout is nothing.

Kennedy took on a team with 4 returning starters (Loubeau, Harris, Middleton, Roberson) and transfer Elston Turner as well as a decently talented bench. He proceeded to go 14-18 and 4-14 in conference.

In year 2 he managed to win only 6 conference games in the worst major conference in college basketball.

In year 3 he followed that season up with MORE overall LOSSES with a far weaker schedule.

In each year, A&M had an embarrassing home loss in nonconference (Rice in 2011, Southern in 2012, and North Texas by 20 in 2013)

"Nothing" = 90% of his remaining salary. That means, pre-extension it was $900,000. Post-extension, it's $2.7 Million if he's fired at the end of this season.
