You forgot the repeating of "Saw Varsity's Horns Off" over and over and over.
So about 80 percent of their fight song is centered around TEXAS.
But the letters "A&M" in TEXAS' fight song is just the same.
Sure...

"Sorry but New Orleans is far better than anything Texas has to offer. I've been all over Texas. It's a shite state with oil money. Nothing special at all there. The old saying "everything is bigger in Texas".. The only thing bigger in Texas is their mouths."
Sorry, but have to respectfully disagree with you. I've lived all over the country and now have spent the last 8 years in Austin. It's an amazing city, great food, unparalleled music and great vibe. Most of TX would agree it doesn't belong, because it's too liberal for them. New Orleans is a great city as well, been there probably a dozen times, so not knocking what you've got. But to say that Austin has nothing to offer is simply ignorant.

Yes, because Louisiana certainly doesn't rely on oil money

You do realize that SVHO is actually a separate ditty we just roll into, right?
I mean, since you know so much about our war hymn and all

You do realize the very existence of texas' fight song was to riff off an old Aggie song, right? From the tune ("Taps") to the title (original Aggie song was "Farmers Fight").
You dumbfrick.

So you have a whole "ditty" that is devoted entirely to the University of Texas?
Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby.

Here. I'm giving you attention. You're welcome

Original tune was "Go Tell Aunt Rhody."
I never said we didn't modify the lyrics to make it about texas, only that it's not technically our fight song.

Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby
Yes, I know that's the source material for the War Hymn tune. Was that supposed to be some sort of gotcha?
There was a lot of back and forth in the creation of our respective school songs/traditions. Not really a revelation.
It was just highly misleading of you to act like "oh it's just the letters 'a&m' in 'texas fight'," when the song literally came into being because of an A&M tune It's not like "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" or "Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby" or "Hot Time" were originally texas-specific.
You dumbfrick.

Holy. Cajun. Crap.
Who knew you would receive so much feedback from the Louisiana branch of the Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitors Bureau?
Apart from hotel accommodations, don't make any plans..
Once you're there, you'll be offered so many pre/post-game recommendations and asked to join so many tailgates, it'll all become blurry.
Texas Aggies pride themselves on hospitality and enjoy few things more than welcoming visitors to B/CS.
