If saban won in his second year at alabama with the talent level being supposedly down why would he not win in his 1st year back at LSU with the talent level that is there now no matter what the scheme is. We do have some pretty sharp kids on our roster. Can't say that about all the coaches though.

I didn't say he wouldn't win any games. I said it would be a step down from what he has now because it would take a while to get all the kids he needs for his system AND to drill his philosophy into their minds. I'm sure he'd win a lot of games, but it would still take a couple of years to get back to the same point that he is right now at Bama. And that's not about talent level.

I guess I should have just made fun of your stupidity as was my first instinct instead of trying to discuss it rationally with you. I'll know next time.

Just as my wife would have said it.

Look at me, still trying to get in the last word, while you're "out of here".

I don't think that Teague was arguing that LSU wouldn't win games if Saban came back. I think what he's trying to say is that if he came back, even with LSU's talent on the roster, Saban would not be as successful immediately as he currently is at Bama.

While there is no argument that LSU has many super talented players, those players are not very disciplined. They no longer have the killer instinct that a Saban coached team has. LSU's players are Miles recruits now, and it shows on the field. They no longer have the look of a Saban coached team, physical, relentless, disciplined, hard-nosed.

1. Miles isn't going anywhere.
2. Saban isn't going anywhere.

Bama's facilities are not head and shoulders above LSU's, as a matter of fact LSU's are slightly better than Bama's in certain areas. You have the "tradition" part down but as I've said before the rest of the conference has caught Bama long ago and in many cases passed Bama.

Please tell us what part of LSU's football facilities are better than Alabama's. Please. Indoor practice facility? Coach's offices? University jet? Weight facility? Please tell us.

And as for the rest of the conference having passed Bama in many cases...everyone remember that this is coming from a fan whose school had to rely on Bama fans to buy up their season tickets. This I know because I went on the Auburn website and bought 4, with no waiting list and no donation to the Auburn athletic department, as did many other Bama fans.

I think in 2007, if Miles had gone to Michigan, Nick would have returned to BR. I think by now that he has probably taken root at Alabama. He owns this entire state and is like a God here so I do not see a reason he would want to leave.

This.. to a degree...

I was at the last home game he coached in when they played and came back in an AMAZING game against Ole Miss. He came back out and lead the student section in the fight song. I remember thinking he is a god here and everyone loves him.. who the frick would want to leave this place? Well, he did... anything is possible...

Damn people, I didn't mean for all of this to happen

It was just a question as to why people seemed so certain Saban was staying in Bama.
