Was at Jordan Hare in '09 and didn't have a single negative thing said to me. Also went twice in college and had a good time.

I have a ton of great Auburn friends so when we visit each other's stadium we generally behave and have no issues

I've seen obnoxious people at JHS, but I've never seen anything truly problematic.

At UGA and LSU I know friends who have gotten into legitimately dicey situations (Bama too obviously), but I've never seen or heard of that at Auburn.

I would never sit in the student section. That's just asking for it.

I sit in the student section for the '09 game, I was a student at UA and my best friend was going to Auburn so he got me an extra student ticket. Wore Alabama gear and all. Other then a little bit of smack talk in passing or by a couple people around us, it wasnt bad. But Auburn was up most of that game until the end

That should be a felony.

I can't believe that stuff happens.

Stay away from Wire Road by the track and the softball complex, and you shouldn't have any problems.

Considering this is a championship game, I think the emotions will be higher than ever.

It's the Iron Bowl + Championships on the line

I've been to several Iron Bowls at Jordan-Hare, and it's pretty intense, but I haven't experienced anything over the top. The intensity of the rivalry means you are absolutely going to hear some taunting and occassional profanity directed at "Alabama" but not necessarily to you personally. A lot of it is good natured, but some of it won't be. You just have to be pretty thick skinned and realize you are going into not so friendly territory. You should refrain from engaging and just laugh it off. It will just be words. It's really no different than Auburn fans in Bryant Denny or any number of intense rivalry situations. It's certainly not a "dangerous" environment.

In the third quarter, when we're up by 24 and the aubs are pouring out into the parking lot, you may see a passed out aub fan and get the urge to rub your junk on his face and video it.

My advice is not to do that.

Tends to be where the younger, "redder", hard partying AU fans congregate. Lots of AU stereotypes can be found there.

There can be problems in most stadiums.

Worse I ever saw was 2008 in and around BD,

In fact saw a couple of Aubs and a Couple of Bams during the first qt get handcuffed facedown in the upper deck concourse. Not sure who started what, but it was an ugly day.....

However, been to Ttown every other year and never saw or had a problem.

No doubt. I just want to take them to this game.

It's a special Iron Bowl.

Besides I'm too old to get drunk and act a fool trying to fight other drunk assholes.

Been there done that. Just want to have a good time now.

Not close enough that you should have any problems with Frats.

I laughed.

But for clarity you mean a passed out auburn fan in the stadium, right? Or are you guys allowed to leave early for away games?

only things that stick out were in the student section

2007 Iron Bowl I remember a Bama kid getting in a fight and then someone ripped his Bama hat off and ran to the top of the student section and threw it out of the stadium

2009 IB I didn't see any fights or anything, 2011 IB I came back and was in the student section and saw one little scrum

Luckily, most of the Bama fans who can make the trip aren't retarded redneck 85%ers that infest this board
