How can decent, respectful and non-bammer Tide fans expect to be treated at Jordan-Hare?

I haven't been to a Iron Bowl in Auburn since 97 and it was pretty bad then.

I was 13 and got cussed out and shaker to the face after the game. And AU won.

I just don't want to take my family to a dangerous environment, given the circumstances surrounding this particular Iron Bowl.

Thanks.

They've always been awesome to us. One of my favorite trips.

Shouldn't have any problems unless you're in the student section.

If they win, you might want to make a donation so they can keep the score board lit until labor day weekend next year...

I would never sit in the student section. That's just asking for it.

99.99% of the people will treat you with courtesy.

0.01% will not.

Running into the 0.01% does not invalidate the 99.99%.

Much like Bryant-Denny.

Welcome and I hope your visit is pleasant but non-victorious.

The same way the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy get treated.

Well I'm not going to show my arse.
My wife and son will be with me and I just don't want a lot of over the top hatefulness.

Playful stuff is cool, that's why it's fun to visit other stadiums.

Thanks for the replies fellas

It means, if you are an arse, you will be treated as such. If you are respectful, you will be treated that way.

I sat in the student section in 09 and didn't really have anything happen. Some random girl next to me tried to same something cute to me after Auburn took the early lead. I just told her it's a 60 minute game. Couldn't find her at the end for some reason.

My sister on the other hand was shoved into the fence a few times while walking up and down the steps. Also had some weird got that followed her and her friend around.

it means if you come in there acting like an arse expect to be treated like an arse

If you go in there just looking for trouble, you will find it.

and vice versa

I love Jordan Hare. Albeit the only other SEC stadium I've been too besides DWS but I've always had a great experience.
