No they don't. The NCAA has rivals turning each other in constantly and only investigate things that have credible evidence to support the allegations

And when they don't find any credible evidence....they'll offer rivals signees immunity.

They'll also use "secret witnesses" in the form of a rival head coach's testimony to hammer your arse to oblivion. i.e. Phil Fulmer

Where are you getting that Godfrey ever said that the 650k offer was actually on the table?

Exaclty. If Godfrey was the OM homer yall think he is and spinning propaganda, he would have simply said that Leo's mom was recorded saying LSU and MSU offered more than the 10K that OM was accused of... that would have been something believable. Instead he just reported and went verbatim from the transcripts without opinion added.

They offer rivals immunity when they already have evidence and need the player's testimony to tie it all together.

When did the investigation of Leo start?

Just like they did with your players against MSU in the early 2000s.

If anyone thinks a family would turn down $650,00 to sign with "any" program you are plain crazy.

Well Leo's word + the Ole Miss Admin admitted that they did pay the kid.

And weren't there texts between Barney & Booster too?

Cam Newton, arguably the best player I've seen in CFB ever was only rumored to have gotten 180,000. WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE OFFER LEO LEWIS 650,000? They didn't and I highly doubt any player is paid that much. We all know everyone cheats but don't be fricking retarded...

So are you calling Leo's mom retarded? Or yourself?

Watching MSU fans bounce back and forth between "Ole Miss Admins leaked investigation info to the media" and "Ole Miss media has been wrong the entire time" makes me dizzy.

It's entertaining watching them back themselves into a corner.

Why can y'all not see the difference between cash from a booster and cash from a booster which was arranged by the school?

MSU was the last SEC school punished by the NCAA and punished for this exact same reason.

What are you saying? That the ncaa doesn't care that kids get paid by boosters, just if the coach sets it up like MSU did in 2012?

You think that's more likely then the concept that the ncaa does not want to punish msu because if they do they cant use immunity anymore? OM fans only bring this up to point out the hypocrisy of the ncaa and their vendetta against OM>

Yeah but they did that so it's different.

LINK

The ones in this article that didn't lose eligibility for talking to the NCAA. This is why it's so cute to see your fan base pitching a fit over immunity. You people did the same thing a decade ago. You also had a woman fricking The lead NCAA investigator in the case against MSU and you hired PI's to follow Sherrill around. Get over it.

I would have to go back and read the NOA to see when the NCAA started looking into Leo's recruitment.

Lost in pankrebs cackling like a hen is this nugget:

quote:

The father of former Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones said he was offered $600,000 for the services of his son

aTm got a WR for $600,000? No wonder we can't sign receivers

It's not me saying that. Read the NOA again

I never found a single reference to the word "immunity" in that article.

So give your reasoning as to why they as it says verbatim in the transcripts, "find athlete 39's allegations against redacted school non-credible" but find it credible against OM, when he ended up at state and snitched on his own school?
