No, we don't piss anyone off in recruiting. That was my point. Thanks for agreeing that your original statement was idiotic.

anyone that would believe freaking back-woods Boosters from the south are throwing this kind of cash around for unproven HS players are delusional.

Don't bet against them being morons. Sallee was just on local radio spewing the nonsense about OM's whole punishment hinging on the validity of SA39's testimony and whether the COI would believe it

Seriously, who holds these guys accountable for their statements ? Posters on tRant catch more hell for making a wrong prediction on an actual game

State consistently stays in their recruiting "lane".

Some don't take State seriously because of their "roster full of 2 and 3 stars", but then want to turn around and scream that State is going down for paying recruits. Can't have it both ways, although reality lands in between the two beliefs.

Yes, I'm sure MSU occasionaly has a rogue booster pay recruits just as every other P5 School does, and no we don't have a roster full of 2 and 3 stars, but more accurately 3 and 4 stars.

There difference in an occasional rogue booster and the OM situation. OM had 8+ coaches and 14 boosters caught working together to acheive one goal, get the best recruits money can buy.

His source certainly isn't the NCAA, which said in their response that a member institution outside of the SEC was the one who turned in the recruitment of Leo Lewis.

I don't even know where to start with your moronic comments. OM will be on the lookout for any wrong doing by State and if you don't think so I can't fix stupid

That implicates LSU since they paid the most for Lewis

Obviously, but that has nothing to do with the statement you got called out on. Keep building strawmen

Not sure of validity but I believe its been mentioned that SA 39's mother was throwing this amount out there to get other schools to up their offer.

I don't think anyone believes that $650k was ever on the table.

$650k was included in SBNation article due to the fact that's what was being thrown around by SA 39's camp.

pretty sure that's what most sane people believe too.

The COI gave the dude immunity, they damn well believed enough of the evidence against OM to grant immunity to get a "truthful" testimony out of the kid....Same with the other half dozen SA's they gave immunity.

I could absolutely believe that Momma39 threw out the amount of $650,000. But nobody believes it was ever actually offered, unless you take sides with Godfrey. Looks like Dennis Dodd is running with Godfrey

Who does Leo Lewis play for?

If you still believe OM fans think State didn't have anything to do with this, then I guess the 1000 or so that I talk to are just wrong

Thank you!
OM isn't getting hanged for paying active players or recruits. They had (still have?) a network in place that was orchestrated from the core of the AD.

Godfrey never said he believed this to be the figure LSU offered. Just that this was the figure communicated by 39 and/or his people. *Reading Comprehension*

That's not what I said.

I said LSU paid the most for him. Nice swing and a miss.

I makeup the rules here, not you.
