It took until the 2015 season for us to get decent nonconference opponents thanks to certain individuals from other schools. The fact of the matter is that no decent nonconference opponent wants to come to Kyle Field. (see LSU post-1995)

Bama on the other hand schedules team like Georgia State
Alabama plays 1 BCS OOC team every year just like the rest of the league. So stop your bitching. UGA is about the only program that regularly schedules 2.

I was listening to a guy on the radio who apparently votes in the AP poll. He was ranking teams higher in the preseason poll based on how easy their record was and how they were more likely to finish ranked.
When you have idiot institutions like preseason polls, that manage to carry weight into regular season polls, that also manage to be based on ease of schedule...this is what happens.

Must be scheduling correctly, three titles in recent years.
FL on the list is stupid, playing FSU puts them in top 3 easily, not the bottom

Texas A&M's OOC is just pathetic.

Bama has played FSU, Clemson, Penn St x2, Virginia Tech x2, and Michigan since Saban was hired. With West Virginia on deck this year and Wisconsin after that. Apologies if you were being sarcastic. That's about par for the course in the SEC.

It's like A&M's schedule didn't get all jacked up or anything from switching conferences................having conference games (in your new conference) on the same weekends that your old OOC games were scheduled. I guess if I was a corndog I wouldn't be smart enough to understand that.

So what OOC games did A&M cancel because they changed conferences

Florida just played Miami and FSU last year, do people expect us to play 2 OOC BCS schools every year unlike virtually every other team in college football? Not to mention this year on top of playing FSU we have to play Alabama and LSU as our West opponents.

Going to bowl games every year is going to be fun. One year we played four BCS teams and last year we played seven 10-win teams. The SEC is hard enough, no need to play big boys from other conferences for us. That welfare check we took from the Oklahoma State game almost backfired on us last year.

I now spend my days as a communications coordinator and writer for some truly awesome clients. I’m the schmuck in the photo above wearing a San Jose State shirt in front of Bryant-Denny Stadium. I travelled over 2,000 miles to see my Spartans take on the #1 Crimson Tide. Too bad we couldn’t even cover the 39-point spread.

why must you always go w/hyperbole?
it was only once we joined the SEC and had to gain another OOC while losing the Arky game as an OOC that the OOC schedule really weakened.
Also, from 2000-2009 before the 10 year Arky deal started we had home and home with Notre Dame, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Miami, Pitt, and Utah.

we had a 10 year deal with Arkansas to play at JerryWorld.
Big 12 was at 9 conference games so we basically had to replace two OOC games once we joined since Arky became a division matchup.
