Dude, us Bama fans that have been around a while and survived the "Three Mikes of the Apocalypse" will be just fine.

The past 9 years have been unreal and I think any Bama fan will tell you when Mal Moore hired Nick Saban, we all hoped and predicted he would be great for us but I don't think even the biggest Bama homer can tell you with a straight face that any of us predicted the crazy success Saban has had at Alabama.

Was just hoping to be relevant again (the pre Saban 2000's we're a little frustrating)

P.s. that taurus357 dude is fricking awful . I've read about 50 of his posts the last few days and every single one is shitty. At first I thought he specialized in shitty posts when it involved Bama .... But to my surprise after further investigation he sucks equally in every teams posts .Me being a fan of Alabama I just initially read more of those .Equal opportunity and consistent if nothing else .

If he goes good luck to him - but he's not leaving Alabama. Life is good at Alabama.

My guess based on nothing but total speculation? 51/49 we’re all writing about his new NFL job ten days from now.

LMAO
Rustled. And who the frick are you anyways? And yes, consistency should be something to strive for. Since you are a Bama fan then you are consistently trashy and classless, without an ounce of dignity and good sportsmanship. Have fun with that. You sure you're not a gator fan?

Losing all our players, blah blah, Saban needs new challenge, blah blah, He failed as apro so he must..blah blah. When are ya'll gonna find some new material?

Look, I listened to Greg McElroy this morning. I would take HIS word every day of the week and twice on Sunday as far as KNOWING Saban.

Greg put it great. Nick is finally content in his career and with himself. He feels like he is doing a great job and is comfortable with himself. His family is here and they're not going anywhere. He has business ventures that he wants to focus on when he's done coaching and they are here. Biggest thing is, and people don't want to admit this, they like living in Alabama. Not so surprising. As a matter of fact 4.8 million people like living in Alabama as opposed to 4.6 who like living in Louisiana. As far as his other points:

Giants job- LOL, yea, Saban wants that media to deal with. Good lord

The failure of the NFL- Soooooo?? He has admitted he doesn't like owners and GM's in between him and his team. Spurrier didn't either. NO pro team gives you complete control. Kelly was promised that in Philly and how'd that turn out?

What else is there to prove? Serioulsy? He's still the SECOND best coach in Alabama history. If he wins Monday he is one title short of tying the greatest coach. Oh yea, he's got plenty to prove.

Losing players? Well I don't need to even address how this has worked out for us. We never lose players, we just have new names that play just as well. This is one more idiotic reason. Shows what a hack this guy is.

Strong SEC competetion? As it sits right now we have played seven teams currently ranked in the top 25. More than any other school in America. I don't think competition scares Saban. Another flat out idiotic reason that honestly makes me laugh.

In short, don't get TOO excited just yet. I would take the information from a former Saban QB who speaks with him often and Greg says he's very happy. The happiest he's ever seen him.
I doubt the Futiak guy speaks with Saban and even admits he's going off just a gut feeling.

I thought this was the year we faced a brutal schedule with an unproven qb and would lose 3 or 4.
This was indeed the year of the Bama meltdown. Brutal schedule - Replaced 8 starters on offense including 3 OL's + an SEC Championship winning QB, RB, WR......

Yet here we are SEC Champs again headed to another NCG with a Heisman trophy winner.....This was the year Bama football was supposed to fail.

I know right? That's why he flew in on a helicopter to the awards ceremonies here recently because he was out recruiting and wanted to use every freaking second like he always does. He's just out there building the cupboard to hand it off to someone else amirite?
