Sorry Bama fans. The experts agree that next year isn't going to be like the previous ones for you. You lose too many starters and face w ridiculous schedule

His son and daughter are working for his Mercedes dealership in Birmingham. He's trolling his two kids.

It's just hilarious how people make these lists with things that people like Nick Saban would never even consider.

Do people really think Nick Saban makes decisions based on
- where he lives (ie Austin is nicer than Tuscaloosa)
- it will be hard to keep winning

The only reason Saban would leave is that he found another job that challenged him in a way he felt like he wanted to be challenged in at a place where he thought he was given a hand where he could succeed at battling that challenge. The idea that he has won a bunch so Alabama isn't challenging anymore is just so dumb. Dude finds challenges in everything in his life. He's like Michael Jordan. Nothing gets old or boring because he always finds new things he has to outcompete and beat.

Anyone who looks at Saban's thought process using their own thought process should automatically have everything they say discounted.

His brain does not work like all of ours.

It is whats selling right now. Want some clicks to your shitty site? Write an article about Nick Saban leaving, being overrated or about how evil he is. Not only will people that hate Alabama read it, but Alabama fans will too and spread it among themselves and get pissed and give you even more clicks.

What is funny is I am totally prepared for him to leave or retire (though I think retirement is much more likely of the two). I have made my peace, accepted he gave us an incredible decade and set his successor up for at least half a decade. I wouldn't be mad at all. I would be a little sad, but the only way I'd be a tad pissed is if he went to another college job (which I put the odds of at about 1.4%).

Ha yes, Saban is fleeing due to the immediate domination of Tennessee and Arkansas.

I wasn't convinced, but now I am. It's over. Done.

I love the pretzel logic of these articles

quote:

To win another national championship would make the timing almost perfect to leave a legend on the highest of notes. There’s nowhere to go but down –

Which could have been said in 2009, 2011 or 2012

quote:

Nothing left to prove

Nothing to prove? how about proving he can win another championship with a difficult schedule and a gutted roster?

So according to the link, Bama having to replace 6 starters including the QB on offense next season is going to be worse than replacing the 8 starters including the QB that they lost off the 2014 team?

The author of that story is quite literally dumber than most of the people posting on tRant.
