Come on Freep. Saban didn't "bomb" in the NFL, Spurrier had nothing to do with the SEC expanding. Leo would be ashamed of you.

Pat Dye, never won a National and is the only coach in history caught cheating on tape. He resigned in disgrace and yet,is revered by AU fans.

A forfeit is the only hope for a UT win over Bama 11 in a row and more to come. Get used to it inbred hillbillies.

"No sir, I averaged 10 wins a year as Alabama's coach. What happens on the field trumps whatever it says on a piece of paper from the NCAA." Gene Stallings correcting a reporter on his wins at Alabama.

I don't care what you guys say, I was at most of those games and I saw Bama won, and I remember them. No matter what anybody else has to say about it, I saw it and I remember it happened.

I'd probably put Spurrier above Meyer considering his full body of work and what he was able to do at USC. Meyer was only at UF for 6 seasons, and only 3 of them were great. His last year at Florida was a trash fire.

And Meyer was working his deal to go to OSU before he even left UF, then tampered with coaches, and stole all the info from UF's recruiting board, then violated an agreement in place with Muschamp that OSU and UF would stay away from each other's recruits to avoid perceptions of conflicts or dirty tactics etc.

Jeremy Foley bent over backwards to accommodate Meyer and his fake illnesses. Meyer had access to UF offices, recruiting boards, and other stuff, long after resigning.

Meyer is a coward and a fraud. His little bitch wife is the same. Family of phonies. Many people feel Meyer had an affair with an intern in the football offices and the family drama that caused is what prompted him to implode, create a fake health crisis, and move on.

Spurrier would never have acted as Meyer did. Never. Even though Ron Zook was destroyed by the fan base at times, he never acted duplicitous like Meyer did. Zook was irrevocably damaged when Rex Grossman was calling Spurrier plays/audibles during a game. Word of that got out, and Zook's ability to put a good offense on the field was always in question. Then his collapse in some big games just made it worse. Overall however, he never deserved as much negativity as he got. Despite that, he was a better man than Meyer will ever be.

Questions about Meyer were brought up and Muschamp took the high road and didn't go into much detail. But, he should have. He should have put it all out on the table for everyone to see.

UF treated Meyer better than any coach in the history of the program. In exchange for that, Meyer lied, pussed out, stabbed Muschamp and the program in the back on his way out the door.

Pat Dye won 4 SEC championships. Got screwed out of a National Championship in '83. That's all I got.

Has a bammer really come up in here talking about unanimous championships? Now that right there is rich my friends.

How many of them were completely made up out of thin air?

Say what you want to but the guy did bring two championships to UF. I mean if you want to continue to bash the guy for off the field regressions, that is your right. But let's not act like it wouldn't have happened anyways at some point. Be grateful he was there to bring a lot of success to the football team. I think if you asked Meyer he would do things a lot differently if he could do it all over again. I mean Alabama fans would have put up a statue of him at this point, regardless of how he left the school.

I agree with Rabern. Both were instrumental in either cheating outright or covering it up and directly lead both schools to probation so leave them both out.
