Pat Dye is a better coach than Miles or Stallings.

Both of those guys won an NC with another coach's players.

Dye took an awful program and made them relevant.

I'd have spurrier ahead of Meyer if we're just talking SEC... And Fulmer ahead of stallings.

1. Saban
2. spurrier
3. Meyer
4. Miles
5. Fulmer

Overall maybe... But he said 1990. Dye resigned in 92.

All but Stallings are valid.

Either Tommy Tubberville (Ole Miss/Auburn), Houston Nutt (Arkansas, Ole Miss) or Philip Fulmer is the 5th.

I'd probably put Spurrier above Meyer considering his full body of work and what he was able to do at USC. Meyer was only at UF for 6 seasons, and only 3 of them were great. His last year at Florida was a trash fire.

ETA - not sure I'd have Stallings in there over Fulmer. Might be 5a and 5b.

Fulmer won back to back SEC titles and a national title... Won the east a couple more times outside of that. He had a hell of a run... much better than tuberville (who had similar resources) or nutt (who had less resources but was never a serious national title contender).

Yeah. You didn't specify records or anything since 1990. You just said 5 best coaches in the SEC since 1990.

The list looks good but I'd put Fulmer at 5 instead of Miles.
