It's such a different day and age now, though. Arkansas is the flagship and not playing games in LR is not going to be a catalyst to another state team rising up to compete with UA. In today's media, I don't think other SEC schools can come in and "take over" certain regions of the state because UA is only playing in Fayetteville. That's laughable.

It isnt easy you moron, you dont have a damn clue what you are talking about. It isnt about the fricking money. It is the relationships and goodwill the University has to have to survive. Dont be a fricking prick. You really are starting to make me think you have no real clue to anything. If you fricking went to school or grew up in Arkansas you would know exactly what I am talking about. So stop being a stupid clueless clown.

Besides people from southern and eastern Arkansas are too poor to go to either stadium

Little Rock kids will still head to Arkansas over Ole Miss (Same distance) as it is just nicer, bigger and a better school.

I guess you've been ignoring my posts, but I say it again: I don't think Little Rock kids have the same passion for Arkansas they once did. I'm not saying it has anything to do with the GSD, but I'm not sure that it doesn't, either. I really get the feeling that many fans are beginning to feel as if Arkansas is becoming more of a regional program and I also wonder if it has to do with the elitism shown by many fans.

How is the state funding of UA? Enough? Underfunded?

Why would I be mad? It is just someone who claims they have lived in the state and went to U of A not fricking understanding the politics of this deal. frick it is laughable. I swear these people think NWA can maintain the University on its own, when it cant.

You think? When was the last time Arkansas lost two major Central Arkansas players before Dyer and Tenpenny?

I'm being serious when I say that I don't know if I'm right, because I'm really not sure. But I don't see the same passion around town that I once did.

The Athletic Department claims they dont take state funds, which is a lie. Just like LSU and Tennessee claim, the state funds a bunch of things in Athletics but not having to report. So it is like most state schools, underfunded, but the private sector bails them out.

Pretty sure you didn't do either of these things.

SunHog was at Arkansas the same time as me so I know he actually attended and grew up in the area.

I'm a 4th generation donor and graduate of Arkansas.

Continue.

No you are looking stupid, especially to say you can just shut off the Little Rock crowd. If you grew up in the state like you claim, you would know you cant.

If I were in Tenpennny's shoes I might make the same choice... how can you pass up playing for Saban?

Dyer's just an idiot

Plus it's not like recruiting was as big of a deal before the 2000s... if another school came and got someone you might not hear about it

Little Rock is still easily 95% Arkansas

For the record, I support moving the games to Fayetteville. It may be a good idea to continue playing one mid-tier OOC game in Little Rock, but I wouldn't know. My main reason for being here is because I'm sick of the insults that have nothing to do with the stadium debate.

Just stop.

Where did I say this? Copy and paste where I said it please.

P.s. Half my family is from Jonesboro and Little Rock.

Well, it's hard to argue those points, but I'm pretty sure that 95% is a little high. I have neighbors all around me displaying flags for other SEC schools.

I would say most of the Ark fan base in south/central Arkansas don't care or notice the "elitism" you are saying that the NWA fanbase portrays

Have you walked campus since we've attended? It is gorgeous now with all the upgrades and new Pi Phi gate.

Yup and more will be fans with HD TV's and the SEC network in all corners of the state. Hence, Little Rock is not needed and pointless!

There are many other posts where you have insinuated that the region is not needed nor the stadium.
