HORSECRAP

Saban has had 4 charged with armed robbery and I know he cares, you can't look 5 years down the road in an 18 Y.O. kids life.

I really think Myers was lax , but lets limit it to when he was there.
Then I can get in on the name calling....

While I pretty much agree, you have to admit that there was no moral enstillment while urban was head coach

To me it is less about the arrests and more about the lack of any substantial punishment. People enjoy pointing to all the arrests under richt, and I agree there are too many, but I can't think of one example where a player got a punishment that was too lenient. If there are any I'd love to hear them.

Typically UGA is seeing suspensions of two games for pot arrests or DUI, which is fair IMO. Was it Brandon spikes that Meyer was only going to suspend for 1 half after he was caught gouging Washaun Ealeys eyes? Crazy

He didn't get shite until a huge public backlash and THEN Irvin Myers suspended him for a half. Then spikes decided to do the full game, cause you know, he's a good guy.

Saban and other reputable coaches have to deal with 18-21 year old kids who they think have relatively good character and can succeed with decent structure and mentoring from people who are there to help them become good football players and young men.

Meyer has to deal with 18-21 year old kids who he knows have poor character but recruited anyhow and whom he coddles and protects just enough to keep them barely eligible so they can win football games and he can get his ego and his salary on before leaving and he gets held accountable for the FRAUDULANT nature of his program and his character.

Saban is a dick. But he's not a fraud.
Meyer is both.

That's what bugs me. More so that richt doesn't do the same but still, this is just ridiculous

It's times like these that I wish everyone had a universal punishment policy so we could all be equal and I wouldn't have to dread richtopatomus suspending 5 dudes out of the gate annually

I'm sorry you have trouble seeing what is right in front of you. You could see it when Urban was the coach there, and you can see it now.

I hope I am misunderstanding you. It APPEARS to be the second time you mock Tebow's faith. The thread is talking about how many players from Florida are completely out of control due to outright thuggery. Yet, on the team is a Christian man that did nothing but show character, and you want to mock the reason for his character? Amazing.

I thought all that was ludicrous at the time. Why do you care anyways? You seem a little sensitive. I'm just having some fun.
