I sort of get it if you have black as a primary uniform color, like South Carolina, Georgia etc. But Bama or LSU, say it aint so.
Besides those are traditional uniforms with big brand identification. Why frick with that? I pray to 8 lb 6 oz baby jesus that Auburn never goes with any of this alternative uniform dumbassery.

Not that I'd want to see Alabama do it but as long as it's just one game of the season I don't see the big deal.
It's so silly that people bring it up in reference to the '08 UGA/Bama game. UGA was going to get their shite pushed in either way regardless of what color jerseys they were wearing. Nothing wrong with switching things up every now and then though; especially when black is actually one of your team colors.

For UGA, Mizzou, SCAR and Vandy black unis are appropriate. For other SEC schools it's gimmickry. And Weird.

Meh, Kentucky will wear black unis. Probably against Auburn, if I had to guess. Got too many uni combos to count off the top of my head.
I do think UT will get some run with black unis though. Would go well with their shade of orange.

No way LSU actually comes out with black jerseys. Too much tradition to make a move like this.
