I've just never heard of him having any sort of leadership to even be considered for it......him and Jackson both.
If they HAVE to stick with the whole senior qualification.....it'll be Marcus Temple.
fwiw....I can see Mathews stepping up into a leadership role one day.

I tell you what though....if that is all the defensive guys we are losing...it looks good for our defense in the next couple seasons.

Yea 2012 and 2013 could be special. But with all the damn attrition we've had, could is a pretty big word in that sentence.

I feel the same way.
I usually have alot of optimism regarding our teams, but 2011 looks grim to me. Barring epic frickups like Jax State and Vandy I think we could reach 6 wins, but I don't see much hope past that.
Hopefully I'm wrong and Nutt will do what we hired him to to do, which is sneak up on superior teams and bite them in the arse.
