Auburn in the SEC even had an MVP in the NFL, NBA, and MLB?

Are you asking if a player from any other school has had a MVP or if Auburn is only one to win all 3?

LSU has NFL MVP x 3 (Jimmy Taylor, YA Tittle, Bert Jones), NBA MVP x 3 (Bob Pettit twice, Shaq O'Neal), but no MLB MVPs. Albert Belle should have won AL MVP in 1995, but he lost to Mo Vaughn because well he was an ahole and no one liked him. Statistically it wasn't even close between the two.

It is really strange that with all the college baseball success we have had, no one has been good enough in the majors win an MVP.

How they do professionally is totally an unknown at this point, But a #1 overall draft pick (NBA), #4 (NFL), and a 1st rounder (MLB) is pretty good. I would guess though that from a draft pick scenario, other SEC teams have had similar.

Not true.

Frank was still with the White Sox in 2005 when they won the World Series. He didn't play in it because he was hurt, but he was on the team.

Frank wasn't on the postseason roster.

He was not in fact on the team.

Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley and Frank Thomas won a combined zero college and professional titles.

Zero.

Corliss Williamson has two.

this just proves how luck and being in the right place at the right time is.

How many guys on the Warriors probably played less than 10 minutes in the Finals ? 3,4?

Herschel and Dominique were both in Athens at the same time. Both are better than their Auburn counterparts. But Georgia hasn't produced a baseball guy like Frank Thomas.

I love seeing how delusional Georgia fans are. How many home runs did Herschel hit during his heisman year?

Zero. He was too busy becoming the best running back in the history of college football.

I love seeing how much of an inferiority complex Auburn fans have. Starts with a former head coach of theirs.

Not even close. Heck, the only thing that immeiatley comes to mind is North Carolina having Michael Jordan and Mia Hamm... but they weren't there at the same time.

To be honest, Stanford, USC or UCLA probably have some stellar combos, but probably in various Olympic sports.

He also has seven rings. The most of anyone since the Celtics in the 60's. Should be in the HOF I/m/o

He'd get my vote. I guess the argument would be he wasn't technically a starter for many years, however he usually played more minutes than the starters in the playoffs, and made more than his share of clutch shots. He definitely contributed earning those 7 rings, as opposed to some dude riding the bench but being in the right place at the right time...IMO.
