Never got a fair shake? He told Cuonzo he was transferring early in the season. Why would he play him after that and over who? If you can play even a lick you will have tons of offers in the spring with everyone trying to fill their roster. His only offer being from E. Kentucky is telling.

Tyndall does not play fast. It is a one trap and drop system

Tyndall doesn't have to play fast, what he does play is the transition game from all those forced turnovers/press and drop situations. That pace of play with Thompson scares me.

Find me any guard in the county who can play good to above average defense with some length that just trys to get open looks and square up, and I'd take him

Thompson's length is perfect for that defensively

Any lanky guard in the country is. Preferably the next one won't shy away from offensive production.

offensive staff is pretty similar to Cuonzo's pace wise.

Thompson was a non factor offensively last year too. From what I can tell, Tyndalls system thrives on both guard positions creating chances and getting to the line. Neither of which Thompson tryed to do with much success last year.

As far as dribbling too high and having trouble with the press, his assist to turnover ratio was pretty damn good for a frosh PG.

His turn over margin was solid. That didn't mean that my stomach didn't drop when he got subbed in towards the end of the year in critical situations when he dribbled the ball to his nipples. (Which every game was). Myself and most friends I watched the games with felt like he was a liability getting it to half court against most teams with a pulse. It's easy to look at the end of the season statistics and not get the entire picture. If you felt confident with him bringing the ball up the last 1/4 of the season, that's fine. I didn't.

Would he be somebody that I'd want to lose? No
Is he somebody that can be replaced? Absolutely.

Are we 2nd Chance U in bball?

Not unless a player wants to sit a year and pay. Most transfers can go play outside the SEC without the pay your own way restrictions but you can't play for another SEC team unless you wanna pay and sit. IOW, highly unlikely any SEC school would pickup Davis or Thompson.
