I'm drying my eyes from laughter at your dumbass. Clemson better go talk shite to mizzou and south carolina. That's the only teams you have room to talk shite to in the SEC. Buncha posers. We will wait another 27 years before clemson wins another natty ok? Then you will get your chance to show your arse again...if you're still alive by then lol

Clemson? Didn't they lose a bunch? Or was that from the 2015 team?
I believe they've lost a bunch for a couple years in a row now. Throw them in there with teams who reload instead of rebuild. At least until they prove that they can't.

Alright. Not sure what that means, but I know you're having an emotional time, so I'm sure it's supposed to be some sort of insult.

Maybe you shouldn't have that drink after all. Keep living in the past though, while Bama, Auburn, Clemson, FSU, etc continue to leave LSU behind.

You know, Nebraska used to be really good, too.

Florida State will beat Clemson by 3 TDs this year.

Clemson has a bunch of Alabama guys coaching defense now. They'll be fine. Of course they'll all be making the drive down I-20 with Dabo in a few years to replace Saban.

Tell me about LSU's "runs".

Or did football only begin for LSU when Saban became the coach?

Hell, their current coach has a losing record against SCAR. They like to pretend that isn't the case and focus on ancient history to stroke their egos.

Washington's defense was very impressive last year in person and they were missing a few studs to injury.

They played a lot better up front than I thought they would, but Kiffin also had a less than stellar game plan.

We have none of those things. We have inexperience and ?s all over the DL and secondary and RS is very similar to Collins in terms of ability. If doesn't have all world talent he's average at best. Theres going to be a drop off. Hopefully the FR minimize the blow.

We are replacing most of our secondary and our anchor at linebacker. Top 7 defense is a little much

Yeah, I don't see how you look at that defense and say top 5. Seems like really lazy research.

I think they will be better against the run this year, but they are going to be way less effective against the pass.

They only gave up 8 passing TDs last year all season, and 4 of those were in the meltdown at Knoxville. I bet they give up way more than 8 of those this year.

The problem is the drop in overall talent, no DTs and the misses in the secondary in 2015 and 16. We're gonna ask FR to step up. For perspective, that 07 defense that was loaded with an all star staff(Strong, Mattison, Holiday, and young stars in Haden, Dunlap, Wright, Spikes, Cunningham, etc. Finished #30 in total defense(249 yards passing(#83) a gm and 99 yds rushing(#9) and 24 PPG. The 07 offense was #15 avg 457 yds a game and scoring 42 PPG and they still lost 4 games.

We're asking an offense that still hasn't found a QB, an adequate OL and a mediocre OC to carry the team. It'll either work great or we're in for a really bad year and we end up with 5-6 losses.

Imo the offense finishes around #80 in total O and #50 in total defense and we go 7-5.

You're right UF isn't the program lsu is. We're way better than lsu.

Just in case you forgot:

Florida is on there because of their name. These defenses are nearly as talented as they were under Will Muschamp and Urban Meyer.

I think the D will be better than that.

The DT situation this year is far and away better than that 2007 unit. Go back and check that depth chart, it was horrific.

The depth on the DL as a whole is also way better, especially at DE, although they don't have anyone as good as Harvey was that year.

The LB corp that year was 3 sophomores, similar to now, and the secondary was WAY WAY WAY worse off.

The only returning corner with any experience at all was Markihe Anderson and he was hurt in camp and never really played. The only returning coverage saftey was Kyle Jackson who was one of the worst players I have ever seen at the position.

UF had Wondy Pierre Louis starting at corner for frick sake, and a converted QB playing as a true freshman in Joe Haden.

So it's not going to be that bad, but certainly not a top defense in the land.

Secondary depth is still pretty bad though. But you are right, the DL situation compared to 2007 is a TON better.

If they can get pressure on the QB without having to blitz consistently, they'll be a lot better off.

I still think given the schedule, UF can go 11-1. Only 3 true road games @ UK, South Carolina, and Mizzou.

Of course this is all dependent upon the fact that while our playmakers on offense are definitely the best UF has had since Tebow left, the QB is still a huge "?" mark.
