I'm really not sold on Fournette as an elite prospect in the first place. At this point I'd definitely take Cook over him; maybe Chubb as well depending on how he looks post-injury.

Looking at some of these supposedly first round draft picks will cause a real WTF blank stare. Godchaux, LSU DT, is going to be drafted before Dalvin Tomlinson et. Al...based on what? LSU DE Louis Neal (who?) to be drafted in front of John Allen, Tim Williams, and many others? Malachi Dupree...WR...first round draft pick in the entire nation? Based on what? on and on...

I don't know who "Walter Cherepinski" is but the most first round draft picks for any college team in history was Miami in 2004 with six. In the 1-9 NC game LSU had a total of five first round draft picks on the roster ... not in one year, but in the next three years. Alabama and LSU combined had 6-first round picks in 2012. Yet next year LSU will have 7 first round draft picks?

But my LSU friends are not easily discouraged by reality and results. So...Expect to very shortly hear how Harris is going to suddenly develop into the next Deshaun Watson next year and declare for the draft and a first round pick. Also, Beckwith and John David Moore will be first round picks giving LSU the amazing total 10 first round picks in the 2017 draft.

It will be truly amazing....a 9-4 or 10-3 team with 10 first round draft picks.

You are rustled, my friend

It is comical ... LSU fans and their 4th-place-in the-SECwest team, making a strong push for off season championship.

Let's see what dreaux has added in this one-team-affirmation line. OMG! dreaux says while LSU only has 4 "lock" first round players next year, they will field at least 16 first or second round picks.

Jeeezzz ... never has any team had this much talent... This is more than Alabama and LSU combined in the 1-9 national championship game.

Never ending offseason entertainment courtesy of the most optimistic, entitled, and delusional fan base in the SEC.

Again, coming from the guy who wasn't aware Kenneth Darby played for Alabama.

Carry on.

It'll be 20 when Hunter Henry sneaks in the 1st.

Very good chance of that I believe.

Time to compete for sure. I doubt they wind up with 7 1st rounders, however I do believe Beckwith goes in the 1st round if he's healthy.

Yeah.. no.. I'm thinking 3. And MAYBE one more if someone has a huge year. 2 wouldn't surprise me. So thanks for reposting what is basically click-bait.

Although Neal could certainly blow up.. I think he's a little on the small size to be taken in the 1st? 8 sacks in 13 games isn't bad.. but it doesn't scream 1st round

It wouldn't shock me to see Carl Lawson go in the first round in 2017. Has to stay healthy. He'll put up ridiculous numbers at the combine too.

Tim Williams will be one of the top edge rushing prospects in 2017. Unless he looks absolutely awful in run defense he's easily a mid first round guy.

Reuben Foster would've had a shot at going first round this year had he declared. Don't know how he gets left off at this point.

Don't see any team spending a pick that high on any RB considering the positional value and I'm really not sold on Fournette as an elite prospect in the first place. At this point I'd definitely take Cook over him; maybe Chubb as well depending on how he looks post-injury.
Hmmm, idk about all this. Tim Williams has a ton to show scouts before he's taken in the first. Not sure his size is ideal(might be wrong here). Reuben isn't a lock at all. LF will most likely go in the 1st. RBs still get taken in the 1st.
