It wouldn't shock me to see Carl Lawson go in the first round in 2017. Has to stay healthy. He'll put up ridiculous numbers at the combine too
right up until his hip explodes like a claymore

Come on man. This has been repeated by almost every broadcast crew/college football talking head. It is a widely shared opinion that Adams is a first round talent and will likely be drafted as so.

We don't get 7 though.

I don't know who "Walter Cherepinski" is but the most first round draft picks for any college team in history was Miami in 2004 with six. In the 1-9 NC game LSU had a total of five first round draft picks on the roster ... not in one year, but in the next three years. Alabama and LSU combined had 6-first round picks in 2012. Yet next year LSU will have 7 first round draft picks?

I don't expect it to happen but there have been 8 names floated around various mock drafts for OSU in the first round. Bosa, Elliott, Decker, Miller, Lee, Bell, Apple, Thomas all have at least one publication saying they are 1st round material. I think they get 5-6, but it's possible that LSU wouldn't even beat the record with 7 next year

all we have to do is beat Ole Miss, Alabama and Arkansas in consecutive games like we do every year.

Watch us win all those, and lose to A&M.
