I heard there was some talk about GA State buying the Ted and making that the home of their football team. That could be pretty cool but I don't see it happening.

That would be pretty cool if they did though. I think they would get more draw if they didn't play in DaDome

Sure it does. Fact of the matter is UGA is 2-4 against Southern in Baseball with quite a few arse whoppins in there.

Nope. Doesn't

I think so. I went to the GSU/Tusculum game a couple of years ago and the stadium was PACKED. and Tusculum is a d2 school.

Yea, my friends are limited to frat stars who'd rather go get shithoused at the house, nerds who'd rather game, players who were stuck there, or kids who stayed home or went to the bars to watch their teams.

So kind of like what Paul Johnson is trying to run at GT where they run flex as well as pistol?

I agree. Something about playing in a big dome where it's inside and you see a bunch of no names is uninspiring. Maybe getting it outside in a cool venue like the Ted could help. Closer to residential area too and god knows the locals wanna sell water at some sort of event after the Braves leave

Similar from what I hear. I think there will be quite a few Pistol formations within this O.

BTW its nice to have an ACTUAL conversation with a UGA fan with some knowledge instead of the typical mouth breathing fan you get from UGA who can only yell GO Dogs and bark like retard.

I knew I could get a shot in there somewhere

I think it would help their tailgating situation as well.

Everyone knows the key to a good college football game is the before and after tailgate.

They should also explore selling beer at the games. Might at least intice people to come if they can get a cold one and watch some football.

The GT triple option trial run

Southern isn't running the triple option anymore. It's moving to the spread option under Willie Fritz.

Definitely not happening when GSU can rent the Dome (and soon Artie's new palace) for about $60K per game. The added benefit for the Panthers using the new stadium is that it can be "downscaled" to 30K (feature is also intended to attract an MLS team), which should make the new digs feel less empty.

The Ted's parking lots would be prime property for a new home for GSU's other athletic programs though.

They're probably in the same boat as us and need 7 to stay in the black.

This is nothing more than a myth. You won't lose money having 6 games every other year.

Just man up and only have 6 home games some years.

LMAO off at ANY other school giving UGA shade about home games. With the WLOCP and a yearly home and home with GT, UGA actually probably has had more 6 game home schedules than any other major conference school.

You mean like this past year?

Don't talk shite if you have no idea what you're talking about.

ETA - When we play at Tech, we will have 6 home games max
