I don't think this UK team would have a chance against 96 UK. That being said, 96 UK did lose a couple of games. If this team wins out, well, case closed.

Not really. Wooden got away with killing puppies and stealing from old people. UK got balls to the wall.

On a serious note, the 95-96 team had more upperclassmen. Delk vs Booker shooting 3's, I think I go with Delk.

Delk is still my all time favorite player. Lord he had a flair for the dramatic three.

Nope and it's not even close. Anybody worth a damn is gone after one year. College basketball as a whole is no where near what it was when everyone stayed for several years.
Plus, KY doesn't have a Lew Alcindor or a Bill Walton, either of which could be called the best college player of all time.

Not even top 5. This team is good but good God are they over hyped.
If you think they're better than the early 90's UNLV/Duke teams, '02 Duke, '05 UNC, '07 UF, or even '10, '12 UK, then you don't know basketball.

It's not that they think life started five years ago so much as they dont actually watch a lot of basketball (then or now) and are basing stupid "best ever" comments off of the one game they did watch and a couple box scores they scanned over. I wonder if genius OP is aware of UK's ten point win over lowly Columbia or double overtime squeaker over Ole Miss.
(Those games aren't meant to diminish this year's UK team- just the intelligence of the OP).
