LSU was the best team in the nation from September 2011 to December 2011. Probably the best in decades. Look at how they destroyed teams.Most games were won by 20+. Other than 9-6, no other game was in doubt.
Until the shite show of 1/9/12. Probably was the worst showing of an offense from a team that loaded I've ever seen.

I'm not diminishing how great 2011 LSU and Bama were but look at the offenses they played that year. I know LSU beat Oregon but that Oregon team was lacking something that year. It'd be very very interesting to see how those defenses would fare against a hurry up tempo offense like Deshaun Watson commands. Would massive Josh Chapman and Courtney Upshaw even be effective against his scrambling and quick passes? It's an interesting question
